Polyolefin Heat Shrink Film (Half Sleeve) 150 X 12 µm | 1550 | Transparent

POF Heat Shrink Film (Half-Sleeve) - 150 mm × 12 µm | 1550 m | Transparent

Polyolefin heat shrink film (POF) in a half-sleeve roll (centerfold, CF) designed for aesthetic and safe individual packaging and multipacks. It provides very high gloss, excellent transparency, stable shrinkage, and a strong seal - ideal for on-shelf display and e-commerce sets.

The material is 100% recyclable and - for the correct batch - compliant with (EC) 1935/2004 and (EU) 10/2011 regarding food contact.

• Half-sleeve width: 150 mm

• Thickness: 12 µm

• Reel length: 1550 m

• Color: transparent

• Core: Ø 76 mm (3")

• Roll diameter: approx. 245 mm

Technical specifications (POF CF series)

• Structure: polyolefin, multilayer, biaxially oriented (POF)

• Density: 0.92 g/cm³

• Gloss (45°): ~96–98.5%

• Haze: ~2.1–3.0%

• Tensile strength (MPa): MD ~105–112 / TD ~98–111

• Elongation at break: ~98–105%

• Coefficient of friction (COF): stat./dyn. ~0.20–0.24 / 0.18–0.23

• Sealing time (200 °C): 0.3–0.6 s (increases with thickness)

Shrinkage characteristics (MD/TD)

Temperature | MD | TD

100°C | ~23–24% | ~30–32%

110°C | ~43–45% | ~51–59%

120°C | ~53–54% | ~58–59%

130°C | ~66–68% | ~69–70%

• Food (depending on batch declaration): bread, confectionery, fruit/vegetables, ready-to-eat products.

• Cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, supplements – individual packaging and multipacks.

• Books, games, boxes, e-commerce – high gloss and shelf presentation.

• 12 µm – light products, fast lines, highest clarity.

• 15 µm – universal choice for most retail applications.

• 19 µm – greater puncture and tear resistance.

• 25 µm – heavier/sharp-edged packaging, maximum protection.

Angle sealers (L-bar), bellows packaging machines and shrink tunnels. Wide process window for easy setup.

• Starting: thinner films (12–15 µm) – lower temperature/higher blowing; Thicker (19–25 µm) – longer time/lower temperature.

• Warm or degassing products – use microperforation and pack after acclimating to room temperature.

• Store at -5°C to +30°C, ~80% RH; after cooling, allow the film to acclimatize for 48 hours before use.

• Compared to PVC, POF does not release HCl, but ensure good ventilation of the sealing zone/tunnel.

POF vs PVC – short

POF: high gloss, clean sealing, environmentally friendly, wide range of food applications. PVC: usually cheaper, but less environmentally preferable and requiring better ventilation during welding. Note: Food contact requires a Declaration of Conformity for the specific batch. We will provide documents if necessary. Size: 1550 M
