Mast brand cartridges from Dragonhawk have been tested by numerous tattoo artists around the world. The needles are made of 304L steel and are polished by an automatic machine for smooth operation. Sterilized with ethylene oxide, they are intended for single use. They have passed rigorous quality and uniformity control. Needle type: RM (CM / SEM) Round Magnum Needles designed for shading and filling large or very large areas. Like classic magnums, the blades are arranged alternately in two even rows and in a slight arc, giving the edges a slightly recessed appearance. Some manufacturers label them SEM (soft edge magnum) or CM (curved magnum). [desc_feature 40] Thickness: (12) 0.35 mm This parameter determines the diameter of a single needle that is part of a soldered set (e.g., one of seven in the case of the 7RL). The thicker the needle, the more it damages the skin and introduces more pigment. 0.35mm (or 12mm in the American system) needles are among the thickest available and are used for black and gray and color work, both for outlining, filling, and shading. [desc_feature 27] Sharpening: MT Medium Taper The taper length or taper indicates the length of a single needle's blade. The longer the blade, the easier it penetrates the skin, but introduces less pigment. Medium-sharpened needles are designed primarily for working with colors, but can also be used with black pigment.
