The manufacturer's recommended load capacity is up to 3 kg, making the SC-02 also suitable for professional productions. Equipped with a piston-type air suction mechanism, the SC-02 adheres securely to slippery and smooth surfaces such as glass, metal, or painted surfaces. Two small rubber tabs release the clamp, making it easy to pry the suction cup open and unlock it. The Ulanzi SC-02 consists of three elements: the suction cup itself with a piston clamp, a NATO rail adapter, and a magic arm joint mounted on a NATO rail. The suction cup itself has mounting holes in 1/4" and 3/8" standards. The NATO rail adapter is mounted using two 1/4" screws. The magic arm's design, in turn, is based on two joints locked with a single-point clamp in the form of a wide butterfly. Finished with a male 1/4" thread, it can be used to mount a camera or various adapters, including smartphone holders and GoPro mounts. NOTE! To properly attach the suction cup to the surface, press the piston several times. A single press will not ensure a secure fit. Warnings → Surfaces unsuitable for mounting the suction cup include dirty, rough, fabric, coated or unpainted wooden surfaces. → When using the SC-02 suction cup, it is recommended to use additional equipment protection, e.g. → When using the SC-02 suction cup outside of vehicles, only use on even roads. → It is not recommended to use the SC-02 suction cup in situations where it would be exposed to strong shocks (e.g. during extreme sports).
