The first next-generation GPS solar chronograph from [Prospex] has arrived, representing a faithful evolution of the 1972 Heritage Chronograph with cutting-edge technology. It features the GPS solar dual-time chronograph movement Cal.5X83. This advanced chronograph movement combines the convenience of GPS solar with a high-precision stopwatch function capable of measuring to 1/20th of a second, along with dual-time display, rapid time zone correction, and a time transfer function.

It adopts the classic chronograph style inherited from the 1972 Heritage Chronograph. The design prioritizes the “legibility” of the stopwatch function by concentrating the elapsed time display (scale) within the dial and moving the UTC time difference indicator, which shows the time zone, to the side of the bezel. The dial base features a matte finish that suppresses light reflection, ensuring excellent “visibility.”

Gold accents, expressing the “brilliance” of numerous products born from a century of technological innovation under the [SEIKO] name, are incorporated into the chronograph’s elapsed time hands, counter circles, and chronograph start/stop buttons. This limited-edition model fuses the message of [SEIKO]'s 100th anniversary with the concept of an advanced, authentic chronograph.
