To commemorate the 10th anniversary of "Beat Tape 2," two mixtapes that laid the foundation for a global career are released as LPs with a Japanese band! The self-released work "Beat Tape 1," which showcased his talent, was produced entirely by himself at the young age of 17, covering composition, performance, mixing, and mastering, and was released on SoundCloud and Bandcamp. True to his admiration for J Dilla, Tom Misch presents a stylish sound that fuses jazz, soul, and hip-hop, displaying an outstanding sensibility as a beatmaker that seems to foresee the current lo-fi hip-hop movement. Now recognized as a generation guitar hero by artists like John Mayer and Eric Clapton, Tom Misch's guitar playing, which was already well-developed at this point, can be enjoyed throughout the 19 tracks included. Limited edition, includes explanatory booklet, with a Japanese band. TRACKLIST A 1. The Real Thing A 2. In A Special Way A 3. Summer A 4. Take Me Back B 1. Keep Moving B 2. Lush Lyfe B 3.
