Author: Horikawa Nami

Born in Osaka in 1971, Horikawa is an illustrator and craft artist. She graduated from the Graphic Design course at Osaka University of Arts. After working in toy planning and development at a toy manufacturer, she became a freelance artist. She proposes ways to casually incorporate Japanese customs into everyday life and is also a collector of traditional local toys.

She is the author of numerous books, including "Stylish Living to Enjoy Every Day from Age 48" (X-Knowledge), "Adorable Semamori Protective Embroidery," and "Accessories and Small Items Made with Rattan" and "Rattan Baskets and Bags" (Seibundo Shinkosha).
