This island hood features a 3 layer washable aluminum grease filter to protect the interior of the hood and exhaust duct from grease buildup. Integrated LED lights provide excellent illumination for cooking and also create a pleasant ambiance in your kitchen. The hood includes three touch sensitive speed controls for precise adjustment of suction power, plus an activated carbon filter that cleans the exhaust air and recirculates purified air back into the kitchen while external venting expels cooking odors outdoors via the included exhaust duct. Assembly is simple. Designed primarily for open plan kitchens with a cooking island as a standalone unit, this island hood can also be used without a cooking island.
