The robust wire basket is designed to be filled with stones or gravel. It is made from rust resistant, weatherproof galvanized steel, ensuring exceptional stability and longevity. The mesh grid is further reinforced by welding the transverse and longitudinal wires at every intersection, making it extra durable. Special note: Ensure your gabion is securely positioned. Depending on its intended use, you must anchor it to the ground for instance, by concreting the base or using posts or hooks as instructed in our assembly guide. Read the instructions carefully and retain them for future reference. Important: A filled gabion is extremely heavy; tipping poses serious safety hazards and risk of severe injury. Installation must only be carried out by qualified professionals. Additionally, mounting and installation accessories including posts, screw flanges, hooks, and concrete are required for gabion assembly but are not included in the delivery. At minimum, the following competencies are required for gabion construction: safe handling of tools, machinery, ladders, and scaffolding; knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and accident prevention measures; experience transporting and handling heavy, bulky components; familiarity with local building codes. If in doubt or if the above qualifications are not met consult a professional, certified engineer, or competent installation company.
