The instruction manual must be passed on to the end user together with the net. The cargo to be transported must be loaded onto the loading surface in a form fitting manner and secured by the vehicle s structure. Subsequently, the trailer cover net may be stretched over the load surface so that it overlaps at the edges, preventing any material from escaping during transit which could obstruct or endanger following traffic. The trailer cover net works most effectively when all mesh openings are evenly tensioned and the net is attached to suitable anchoring points on the open loading surface or container. Rinse the net with water. Nets must be visually inspected during use. Nets must be removed replaced immediately if defects are detected. Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or an authorized person. Such person must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills. After repair work, the net s original properties must be fully restored. In addition, nets must be inspected at least once per year by a qualified person; such inspections must be documented. In case of doubt, the affected nets must be withdrawn from service.
