Important: A filled gabion is extremely heavy; tipping poses serious safety hazards and risk of severe injury. Installation must be carried out exclusively by qualified professionals. Additionally, mounting and installation aids including posts, screw flanges, hooks, and concrete are required for gabion installation but are not included in the delivery. At minimum, the following competencies are required for gabion construction: safe handling of tools, machinery, ladders, and scaffolding; knowledge of occupational and operational safety, including precautionary measures against accidents and hazards; experience in transporting and handling heavy, bulky components; familiarity with local building regulations. If uncertainties arise or if the above qualifications are lacking consult a professional, certified engineer, or competent installation company.
