Important: A filled gabion is extremely heavy; tipping poses serious safety hazards and risk of severe injury. Installation must be carried out exclusively by qualified professionals. Additionally, installation and mounting aids such as posts, flange brackets, hooks, and concrete are required for gabion assembly but are not included in the delivery. At minimum, the following competencies are required for gabion construction: safe handling of tools, machinery, ladders, and scaffolding; knowledge of occupational and operational safety, as well as implementation of precautionary measures against accidents and hazards; experience in transporting and handling heavy, bulky structural components; familiarity with local building regulations. If in doubt or if the above qualifications are lacking consult a professional, certified engineer, or competent installation company.
