Important: A filled gabion is extremely heavy; tipping poses serious hazards and risk of severe injury. Installation must be carried out exclusively by qualified professionals. Additionally, mounting and installation aids including posts, screw flanges, hooks, and concrete are required for gabion installation but are not included in the delivery. Gabion construction requires at least the following competencies: safe handling of tools and machinery, ladders and scaffolding; knowledge of occupational and operational safety, as well as implementation of accident and hazard prevention measures; experience in transporting and handling heavy, bulky components; familiarity with local building regulations. If uncertainties arise or if the above qualifications are lacking consult a professional, certified engineer, or competent installation company.
