●1. Inertial slide transitioning to a slow speed range: This is a world not found in ordinary floating or sinking minnows. With existing minnows, twitching will repeat the sequence of movement → stop → movement → stop. When it "stops," it tries to correct its posture with buoyancy (even sinking lures have buoyancy to correct their posture), but it does not move forward and as a result it "stops." Due to its own weight, the D-CONTACT twists and moves forward while trying to correct its posture according to the law of inertia. This is the inertial slide. After that, it transitions to a slow speed range. In the continuous sequence of movement → inertial slide → movement → inertial slide, the fish is attracted by the "movement," and recognizes the slower speed, but still moving, in the inertial slide and the transition to the slow speed range as a bite opportunity. This is similar to what can be seen when birds and animals catch their prey.
●2. Doesn't jump out of the water even with twitching in cross-down: In a style of fishing upstream, the frequency of using down-cross-downcasts is less than 10%, but there are always situations where it becomes necessary. D-CONTACT was developed as a minnow for catching fish by making frequent use of upstream casts, producing flashing, darting, and wriggling sliding actions with twitching and jerking. However, a minnow that focuses only on upstream casts would not feel like it's used in the field. Sinking minnows have weaknesses in reverse twitching due to their nature, but D-CONTACT's potential remains unchanged from upstream to cross-down. There is no longer any need to switch to a floating minnow when casting downstream.
●3. Range control is possible: Due to its considerable weight, it has a fast falling speed and can target deeper areas. It can be used at various depths depending on the retrieve, the interval between twitches, and the position of the rod tip.
●4. Long Casts: All 50mm, 63mm, and 72mm types have a slightly rearward fixed center of gravity, allowing for significantly longer casting distances than conventional lures without wobbling. You'll appreciate the weight when fishing against a headwind.
●5. Developing an appealing presence
●a. Appeal through visual shape changes: The thin body and "V" shape are designed to make target fish perceive a significant change with even slight fluttering and rolling. When a target fish looks at the D-CONTACT from below, it appears thin, slender, and fragile, but when it flutters and rolls, its shape changes dramatically, making it aware of the change.
●b. Different Reflective Light: Different holograms are applied to the mask and body to create a strong presence underwater. The coloring also considers both natural and attractive aspects, resulting in a lineup that prioritizes practicality. For example, the TS and TS Laser have different reflective efficiency underwater. The same is true for the Yamame and Yamame Laser.
●c. Black ring and hook specifications to enhance the lure's sparkle: The body and other parts are finished in a neutral black color. The hooks are chemically sharpened for a clean, sharp penetration.
