Instruction of relays and harness sockets:
-85: connected to chassis ground. Serves as a common ground connection to energize and magnetize the internal coil.
-86: Connected to a positive 12V DC input. This is where a switch connected to a 12V DC input will be connected to the relay.
When power is sent to the relay via pin 86, the circuit is completed with pin 85 connected to a common ground, which energizes and magnetizes the internal coil.
-87: Normally open contact, also called NO. The connection between the pin 87 and pin 30 is realized only when the internal coil is energized or magnetized.
-30: Common contact that can be connected to a 12V DC power input or to the chassis connected to the ground depending on the desired application.
