By employing an open-back acoustic structure that does not acoustically block the housing, reflections inside the headphones are reduced, enabling accurate reproduction of the sound field intended by the creator. In addition, a large-area acoustic resistor is used in the opening connecting the front and back of the driver unit to optimally control ventilation. This eliminates spatial resonance and achieves natural, rich bass reproduction with minimal coloration. The diaphragm's shape and corrugation were determined through multiple simulations and prototypes, resulting in a low-distortion, high-compliance design. This allows for excellent reproduction in the low-frequency range, as well as ultra-high-frequency and high-sensitivity reproduction. Furthermore, the structure, which incorporates a duct on the rear, maintains separation between the mid-range and low-frequency ranges while achieving sufficient volume and quick, tight bass reproduction. The ear pads are made of a suede-like synthetic leather that feels good against the skin and is suitable for extended use. Furthermore, by utilizing the knowledge gained from developing numerous headphones to date, the weight has been reduced in every detail, resulting in stability and comfort when worn. The cable is detachable for easy replacement and features a screw-type locking ring for secure connection. The ear pads can be replaced by the user. *Replacement ear pads are available as service parts. The cable plug uses a φ6.3mm stereo standard plug, which is widely used in production environments. By using the included plug adapter, it can also be connected to PCs, smartphones, Walkman®, etc. equipped with a φ3.5mm stereo mini jack.
