Kenko Starry Night Pro Soften 72mm Soft Light Pollution Reduction Softening Thin Frame Made in 549711 Filter, + Effect, Design, Japan, [Special

[Light pollution reduction + softening effect in one filter.] This effect filter combines the effects of "Starry Night" and "Pro Soften," which are often used together when photographing starry skies, into a single filter. [Effect 1. Light pollution reduction effect that reduces color cast caused by city lights] Due to the influence of street lights such as sodium lamps and mercury lamps, the night sky appears color casted yellow or orange, but "Starry Pro Softon" cuts out only the light of the specific frequencies that correspond to these, allowing for natural color reproduction. [Effect 2. Softening effect that highlights constellations while leaving the scenery and background clear] This softening effect blurs bright stars beautifully and makes constellations pop out. "Starry Pro Soften" has the same effect as "Pro Soften Clear." It only applies a softening effect to point light sources such as stars, leaving the surrounding scenery unaffected, making it suitable for starry sky photography or when you don't want to apply a softening effect to anything other than stars. [It has the effect of two filters in one, so it is less likely to cause vignetting and is recommended for wide-angle photography] Starry Pro Softon, which has the effect of two filters in one, is less likely to cause vignetting even when shooting with a wide-angle lens, and eliminates the hassle of stacking them and the risk of flare. [Amazon-exclusive packaging that gives it a special feel] This is an Amazon-exclusive model that uses a filter case that is different from the standard specifications.
