The TEMPO OVERCURVE R4 WIDE is designed with a performance fit in mind for riders with wider feet, providing a larger volume fit by increasing the space around the ball of the foot and metatarsal bones in the forefoot. A versatile performance road cycling shoe that is quick and easy to put on, it is designed to suit any ride. This shoe was designed with a timeless look in mind. The classic points of the road shoe have been redefined with a clear fizik identity and a smart form-fit construction. The construction of the Overcurve shoe features staggered curves that wrap around the ankle, resulting in an asymmetrical design that traces the natural misalignment of the two bony protrusions of the ankle (the lateral and medial malleoli). The closure features a single, finely adjustable Boa IP1-B dial, allowing for quick, one-touch, and secure operation. The new, moderately stiff R4 outsole, infused with 15% carbon fiber, strikes a good balance between comfort and pedaling efficiency, making it suitable for all-around use. It also features efficient cooling and inner channeling for temperature management, preventing stuffiness inside the shoe. The cleat mounting position has been moved further towards the heel compared to the previous model, allowing for a more aggressive riding position.
