Felted Mushroom Hat – Lost in a Sky Blue

A playful, hand-felted hat that recalls a mushroom-dotted landscape. The soft, sky-blue wool forms a gently sloping dome, like a quiet hill, while bright red mushrooms with white spots sprout playfully from the surface, adding a note of fantasy and delight.

Craft & Material

Handcrafted from 100% wool, this hat showcases the artisanal skill of felting. The wool is carefully shaped to a smooth, rounded form, with the mushrooms worked into the design. The texture is soft and inviting, with a slight natural variation that highlights the handcrafted nature of the piece.

Fit & Shape

The hat features a relaxed, unstructured shape that sits comfortably on the head. The brim is gently curved, providing a subtle frame around the face without being overly pronounced. The overall fit is casual and easygoing, making it a versatile accessory for various occasions.

Colour & Finish

The primary colour is a soothing sky blue, reminiscent of a clear, sunny day. The mushrooms are a rich, contrasting red with white spots, adding a playful pop of colour. The finish is matte and natural, with the wool's inherent texture adding depth and interest to the visual appeal.

Wearing & Care

This hat is designed to be worn as a statement piece, perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to any outfit. It is best cared for by gently hand washing in cool water with a mild detergent and allowing it to air dry. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat to maintain the integrity of the wool fibres.
