Arugula sprouting seeds (500 g) are an easy way to grow fresh, aromatic sprouts at home all year round. Arugula sprouts are valued for their pleasant, slightly peppery taste and for their naturally occurring fiber and omega‑3 fatty acids, which support digestion, help cleanse the body of toxins, and contribute to overall vitality. They are also a rich source of micronutrients such as zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, potassium, sulfur, calcium and iron, as well as vitamins A, C, K and B-group vitamins. Traditionally, arugula (including its sprouts) is also considered a natural aphrodisiac.
The sprouts can be eaten raw or added to warm dishes. They work especially well in sandwiches, salads, pasta, cheese dishes, sauces and as a finishing touch for soups.
Packed in a practical doypack pouch with a zip closure to help keep the seeds fresh after opening. Sprouting time is typically 4–6 days. Recommended cultivation methods: sprouter or jar. No seed soaking is required.
How to sprout:
Rinse the seeds and place them in a sprouter or a clean, scalded jar. If using a jar, cover the opening with gauze, secure it, and keep the jar in a warm (18–22°C), shaded place. Rinse and drain the seeds twice daily. The sprouts are ready when they reach about 1–2 cm, usually after 3–4 days (depending on conditions).
