Legere Signature Bass Clarinet Reed BCS1.50 (1 1/2)

---------------------------------------------------------------------- Strength: 3.00 Légère reeds are the result of extensive research and development, crafted from a completely new material that possesses vibrational waves similar to those of natural cane reeds. Rather than simply shaving, the cutting method was thoroughly researched, focusing on every aspect—cut angle, vibration ratio, surface finish, and humidity stability—to achieve a tone and playing feel that rivals that of natural cane. Furthermore, precise computer processing allows for precise control of subtle differences in hardness. The Légère Signature Series reeds were developed and released after months of testing with top professional players, including former Chicago Symphony Orchestra member Larry Combs. They offer a playing feel that closely resembles natural cane reeds, as well as a rich, warm tone and excellent response. The Signature Series is recommended for all players who have not found the appeal or sound they desire in other natural cane reeds.
