Chakra Banner Dragon Wall Hanging 175x53cm

A tall chakra wall hanging draws the eye upward, bringing colour and movement to a bare wall without taking over the room. The deep purple centre, black border and curling dragon motif give it a strong vertical presence, suited to a meditation corner, hallway, alcove or studio space.

What the design brings to a room

The dragon winds through the centre of the banner, adding movement rather than a static block of pattern.

Seven chakra-style symbols run down the length, each held in its own colour and ornamental form.

The dark border frames the artwork neatly, helping the colours feel contained and intentional on the wall.

The narrow drop shape softens a plain vertical space, especially beside a doorway, shelf or quiet seating area.

Rayon batik from Indonesia

This banner is made from rayon as part of the Bali Wax Batik Wall Hangings range. The design is created with a wax-resist batik process: the pattern is drawn in hot wax, dyed, then the wax is removed to reveal the final artwork. The result is textile art with a softer, more fluid feel than a flat printed poster.

Hanging it at home

Place it where its full length can breathe, such as a slim wall, meditation area or the side of a wardrobe.

Chakra colour and dragon symbolism

Chakra imagery comes from Indian yogic and tantric traditions, where energy centres are often represented through colour, lotus-like forms and symbolic diagrams. In modern yoga and meditation spaces, the seven-colour vertical arrangement has become a familiar visual shorthand for inner alignment and reflection. The dragon adds another layer of meaning: in many East Asian art traditions, dragons are associated with elemental force, guardianship and movement through sky or water. Here, those ideas sit together as visual symbolism.
