Petrified Wood Triple Tealight Holder

One stone holder with three tealight wells, carrying the quiet weight of stone and the memory of wood. Petrified wood brings natural grain, mineral patterning and small fissures into candlelight, turning a table, shelf or mantel into a softer evening focal point.

Stone, grain and candle glow

The surface carries the character of fossilised wood, with natural variation rather than a repeated pattern.

Each well frames a tealight with a grounded, sculptural presence, suited to slow dinners and low-lit corners.

Cracks and markings are part of the petrified material, giving every holder its own visual rhythm.

Three flames in one block make a centrepiece on their own.

The mix of petrified wood stone and marble gives the piece a natural, earthy finish.

Handmade in Indonesia

This candle holder is handmade in Indonesia by skilled artisans, using petrified wood as the defining material. Petrified wood forms when buried wood is gradually mineralised in sediment, leaving behind the suggestion of grain in a stone-like body. Using it with tealights

Place one tealight in each well and set the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface before lighting. It works beautifully down the centre of a dining table, grouped on a console, or used as small pools of candlelight beside a bath or reading chair.

Care for natural stone

Let the holder cool fully before moving it. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use, and avoid soaking the stone or using harsh cleaners. As with any candle holder, never leave a burning candle unattended.

Petrified wood sits between natural history and home ritual. It begins as wood, then becomes stone through mineralisation, keeping traces of its original grain while taking on a denser, more sculptural quality. In interiors, that makes it especially suited to spaces where you want texture without fuss: rustic tables, quiet s…
