Since its founding in 1973, BOSS has developed unique and innovative guitar products for players worldwide. In 1977, the brand launched its iconic compact pedal series. The following year, it released the DS-1 Distortion, a pedal synonymous with distortion. Highly acclaimed for its sharp attack and smooth sustain, this classic compact pedal's sound has been heard on countless songs. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the BOSS brand in 2023, the company will release a special edition model, the DS-1-B50A, featuring a metallic-finished body, silver screws, gold knob caps, and a commemorative emblem. Each unit will have a unique four-digit serial number and will be presented in a box bearing the commemorative emblem. Featuring a timeless distortion sound, this collector's item will be produced in a limited edition of 7,000 units worldwide.
