This full-metal model, part of the "GA-2100" series, is a digital/analog combination watch that inherits the concept of the original G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C, and features smartphone linking. The screw-back case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, providing shock resistance to protect the module from drops while maintaining a simple, streamlined design. The watch also inherits the octagonal bezel and dimpled band design from the "DW-5000C," released in 1983. High-density mounting technology allows for a slim, highly functional module, resulting in a slim design. It also offers exceptional comfort. The stainless steel bezel is shaped into a three-dimensional shape through time-consuming forging, cutting, and polishing processes, with a beautiful finish achieved by applying a circular hairline to the top and mirror polishing to the beveled edges. A fine resin buffer is installed between the bezel and case, making the metal exterior shock-resistant. The dial is delicately shaped using micro-machining technology at the Casio Yamagata factory, and is finished with a vapor deposition process for a high-quality texture. The thin, high-performance digital/analog combination module connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth communication, obtaining time information and keeping accurate time.
