Product Introduction
Micromill "1/72 Scale Luftwaffe Horten H-9 V1 BMW 003 Jet Engine (AMP Brand)" Plastic Model Kit.
The H-9 V1 was a prototype for the Horten Ho 229 jet flying wing fighter. Initially, it was planned to be powered by the small, powerful BMW 003 engine.
However, due to difficulties in developing the BMW 003, the engine was changed to the larger JuMo 004.
After the Horten brothers revised the aircraft design, the H-9 V2, equipped with the JuMo 004, was completed in December 1944 and made its first flight the following year.
This kit uses new parts to recreate the Horten H-9 V1, equipped with the BMW 003 engine as originally planned.
The control surfaces are separate parts.
Includes a 3D interior decal, a paint mask sticker, and two decals (one for German and one for American captured aircraft).
*This product is a plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting.
