Accessories: Main unit only *This product is intended to be replaced with a genuine product, so it requires the so-called "shell cracking" work of peeling off the IHS and CPU. Installation procedure example: ① Insert dental floss or similar into the gap between the feet of the genuine heat spreader to cut off the adhesive. ② The CPU die and heat spreader are soldered, so use a heat source that melts the solder and then remove the heat spreader from the CPU. ③ Use liquid metal or similar to melt and remove the solder remaining on the CPU die. ④ First polish the CPU die with a mirror polishing agent. ⑤ Apply liquid metal again to the contact points between the die and the back of this product. ⑥ Attach this product and the CPU while paying attention to the amount of liquid metal and the position of the die. If necessary, use adhesive on the CPU and the feet of this product to fix the CPU and this product. ■ It is effective to use dental floss when removing the genuine heat spreader. ■ Nickel-plated, so it is designed to withstand long-term use with liquid metal. ※※This is a field where the difficulty of replacement is relatively high.
