Blue Impulse, the Air Self-Defense Force's aerobatic squadron, has continued to inspire courage and excitement to the nation since its establishment in 1960. The T-4 Blue, the third generation operational aircraft in Blue Impulse history, will make its mark on the memorable 60th anniversary of 2020. This model was planned and developed as a model that celebrates the achievements of the T-4 Blue, which continues to evolve as it celebrates its glorious 60th anniversary. As a registered product of the Ministry of Defense Mutual Aid Association, it is based on a quartz drive system that emphasizes practicality and can be used on missions, and the design, produced under the supervision of the Air Staff Office, is a specification that is full of the world view of T-4 Blue.

1 The movement uses a reliable domestic quartz chronograph movement.
2Grade 2 pure titanium is used for the case and bracelet to achieve robustness and lightness. Stress-free wearability with a total weight of only 135g.
3 The bezel, which has been treated with blue IP, is equipped with a rotating slide rule that can be used for aviation calculations, and is designed to meet the needs of professional pilots.

The caseback design commemorating the 860th anniversary includes a realistic etching of a T-4 pilot along with the words 60TH ANNIVERSARY, as well as a limited edition serial number.
