This is a larger version of the Park Pochette, created in response to customer feedback that it could hold a long wallet, while retaining the original concept. The exterior pocket on the front can hold a smartphone. Since this is something you'll be taking in and out of frequently, the pocket is open. The inside of the pocket (the main body side) is made of a non-slip and cushioned mesh material to prevent the phone from easily falling out. There is a zipper pocket on the back side, convenient for storing coins or IC cards. The main body opens wide with an L-shaped zipper, making it easy to access items. The opening can be adjusted with a double slider. The main body is designed to fit a long wallet such as the 2204/Grotto. The back of the interior compartment features a zippered pocket. This convenient compartment is perfect for storing small items like candy, gum, bandages, and medicine. The inner compartment can hold passports, brochures, coupons, parking tickets, and spare masks, depending on the occasion. By placing coins in the zippered pocket and bills (unfolded) in the inner compartment, you can use the bag as a wallet bag without a wallet. The key ring at the top of the zippered pocket can hold keys. If you keep your keys organized with a carabiner, you can also attach them directly to this ring. This leather is made from vegetable-tanned cow kip leather, dyed and processed at a factory in Sumida Ward, Tokyo's downtown area. Skilled artisans hand-powder dye the leather, then meticulously apply wax by hand. Finally, the leather is baked and pressed with a high-pressure iron to create a beautiful luster. The hand-applied wax creates a rich, deep color with contrasting shades. This process, known as "pool-up," whitens the folded sections, allowing for a unique aging experience that reveals each individual user's unique personality. While tanned leather is typically stiff, it will soften and become more comfortable with use. Maintaining this leather in good condition requires little use of leather care creams, and simply wiping it dry.
