Features:
* This kit features a proven fifth-generation preamplifier driver board and a classic backlit 35mm VU meter head with a driver board. It's suitable for phones, computers, preamplifiers, MP3 players, and other devices. VU meter backlight voltage: AC6V-12V; DC current: 500uA ±15%; DC internal resistance: 650 ohms ±15%; operating temperature: -22°C-55°C
* Tuning: To tune the meter, use a signal generator and adjust the 1kHz output signal to 0.775V. Connect this to the signal input of the driver board and adjust the meter needle to 0dB on the instrument panel. To tune the VU meter, connect an audio signal to the driver board and adjust the adjustable resistor on the driver board to synchronize the volume and tempo you hear with the needle, the needle moves within a moderate range.
* When connecting cables, avoid connecting the DC12V backlight voltage to the wrong VU meter, as the current could damage the meter head. This product should not be connected to the output of an amp, including a car CD player.
* AC 12V is the power supply. L, G, and R are the dual-channel input terminals for low-level signals on the driver board, used to connect to audio sources such as mobile phones, computer sound cards, and preamplifiers. The adjustable resistor "5K-V" adjusts the backlight brightness. The adjustable resistors "50K-1" and "50K-2" control the amplitude of the VU meter needles 1 and 2, respectively.

Instructions: (see below)
1. AC 12V is the power supply. (It is recommended to use a separate power transformer or separate windings for power supply.)
2. L, G, R: The driver board's dual-channel low-level signal input terminals are used to connect audio from mobile phones, computer sound cards, preamplifiers, and other audio sources. When wiring, L, GND, and R correspond to the left, ground, and right channels, respectively.
Note: Do not connect to the output terminals of power amplifiers, including car CD players.
3. The adjustable resistor "5K-V" is used to adjust the backlight brightness.
4. The adjustable resistors "50K-1" and "50K-2" control the amplitude of the VU meter needles 1 and 2, respectively.
Debugging: (See below)
1. Debugging the VU meter: Use a signal generator, adjust the output frequency of a 1KHz signal to 0.775V, connect it to the driver board's signal input, and adjust the VU meter needle to 0dB on the instrument panel. 2. Adjust the volume meter: Connect the driver board to the audio signal and adjust the adjustable resistor on the driver board so that the loudness and rhythm of the sound you hear with the pointer, and the pointer swings at a moderate amplitude.
