The SRC6MS is a new crossover model that showcases the progress of the Ibanez Bass Workshop over the years. This 2023 model is an evolution of the previous SR Crossover model, which featured the 30-inch scale (now called a short scale) commonly seen on 6-string basses in the 1960s. By using different scales for the thin and thick strings, the design aligns the tension of each string, providing an ergonomic feel that will be greatly appreciated by those who move between the high and low fret ranges.
