The UZI O-Drive is a faithful reproduction of the famous Friedman BE-OD distortion pedal, using JOYO's technology. This pedal's greatest feature is its rich, British-inspired distortion. It delivers natural, amp-like distortion, yet high enough gain to easily handle metal. The two large knobs, VOL and GAIN, create the base distortion, while the four knobs, LOW, MID, HIGH, and BIAS, allow for fine-tuning of the tone. The BIAS knob can be adjusted to suit American or British tones, allowing for even more distinctive distortion. These four adjustments are extremely effective, allowing for a wide range of adjustments, from enhancing the bass even at high gain, to boosting the mids for a more undulating sound, or adding a more treble-heavy tone.
