80% Layout
8kHz Polling Rate The 80HE supports up to 8kHz USB polling, simultaneously scanning all analog key positions at the same rate for a true 8kHz polling experience, reducing keyboard latency to just 0.125ms.
Rapid Trigger eliminates the second slowest component of input latency, returning key press travel before the key deactivates. Rapid Trigger dynamically changes the actuation and deactivation points. The key activates when you intend to press it and deactivates when you intend to release it. Key presses can be repeated midway during rapid presses without exceeding fixed reset or actuation points.
Rappy Snappy monitors at least two selected keys and activates the one that is pressed furthest. When combined with Rapid Trigger, it only compares keys when they are active, allowing for pre-press and faster activation when the opposite key is released. If both are active at the same depth, it relies on the selected SOCD resolution. This improves timing for (counter)strafes, bunnyhopping, and block/parry/combos in a variety of games.
Gasket Mount The PCBA and switch plate are secured with a silicone gasket, which provides shock absorption, reduces noise, and provides a softer typing feel.
PC Plates PC plastic switch plates soften the overall typing experience by muting high frequencies and accentuating the "thud."
Screw-in stabilizer The Wooting 80HE is equipped with a screw-in stabilizer to reduce rattle, and is interchangeable with most third-party screw-in and clip-on stabilizers.
