[About the gold leaf] This Gold Leaf Fuji cold sake cup is a traditional craft item handmade by artisans, so the width, pattern, and placement of the gold leaf will vary from product to product. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that the "Handmade Edo Glass Tajima Kiln" label on the top of the glass is a sticker and is not a design that is applied to the product itself.
[Product Description] Each piece is handcrafted by artisans, making the "Mount Fuji Glass Series" a huge hit both in Japan and overseas. This new design is the fourth installment of the "Edo Glass Mount Fuji Series," further evolving the design. Experienced glass artisans have created a majestic Mount Fuji design on the bottom of the glass. This celebratory cup features strips of gold leaf expertly fused at high temperatures to the glass, a technique also used in Kiriko (cut glass) glass, showcasing the lustrous beauty of the gold leaf. The lapis lazuli (blue), cherry blossom (red-gold and pink), and black colors reflect off the mountain's surface, creating a colorful effect. This elegant cold sake cup is perfect for enjoying a moment of bliss, or as a sentimental gift for celebrations or special occasions. It is the work of Tajima Fumio, a traditional craftsman certified by the national and Tokyo governments, who received the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare's "Contemporary Master Craftsman (Excellent Skilled Worker Award)" in 2019. It comes in a special paulownia wood box with the Edo Glass logo. In addition to enjoying a blissful moment in a special glass, it is also perfect as a gift for a loved one, a birthday gift, Father's Day gift, Mother's Day gift, or as a souvenir to take home overseas. [About Tajima Glass] Tajima Glass products have been awarded the Souvenir Grand Prix 2015,
