Cat Tarot | 22 Cards Total with Japanese Keyword List [Authentic]

This is an original 22-card set of Major Arcana tarot cards featuring real cats.

The original illustrations are by painter and picture book author Sugiura Hiroaki. After losing his pet cat Sasuke, he started drawing cats, and thanks to connecting with cat lovers on Instagram, the models for the cards are all his followers' pet cats.

The cards feature a large gathering of cats, both alive and dead, as well as those that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Printed on matte paper, the cards have a smooth texture that makes them easy to shuffle and practical.

About the Author Author: Yuka Sakurai

After the death of her family's beloved cat, Yuka Sakurai began collecting cat merchandise. She discovered Yoshiyuki Hamaguchi's "Cat Compastrotto" and studied under him. As she began giving readings at her cafe, she began attracting repeat customers. In response to requests for tarot cards featuring cat illustrations and for instruction on how to read fortunes, in September 2020, she collaborated with the artist's younger brother, Hiroaki Sugiura, to create an original cat tarot deck featuring actual cats. The first edition of 100 sets sold out in about three months. The trademark registration for "Cat Tarot" was completed in March 2021. More than 20 people have taken the "Cat Tarot Fortune Telling Course," which teaches everything from the basics of tarot readings to professional practice.
