Spiral X: Spiral X is a three-layer structure sandwiched between an inner layer of vertical fiber sheet and an outer layer of diagonal carbon tape. This blank takes the blank to a new dimension by incorporating the diagonal fiber's functionality as a horizontal fiber. By simply changing the structure, we have achieved improved torsional and crushing rigidity without increasing weight. This is a unique basic structure that achieves both strength and light weight with a simple configuration.
Excite Top: A special design on the tip has greatly improved the sensitivity you see with your eyes and feel in your hands. Gaining sensitivity that was previously impossible to achieve will dramatically change the way you approach fish.
High Power X Tip: An advanced reinforcement structure in which ultra-thin Shimano Infinity Carbon tape is wound in an X-shape around the tip. This increases the rigidity of the tip against twisting, and at the same time, the synergistic effect with Spiral X reduces rod vibration and further improves sensitivity.
Muscle Carbon: A high-performance material that significantly reduces the gaps between the fibers by bundling carbon fibers more densely than regular carbon materials, and reduces the amount of resin that fills those gaps.
Parabolic Tune: To achieve a smooth action, Parabolic Tune has revised the joints of each section, eliminating any inconsistencies in rigidity while maintaining strength. This has succeeded in bringing out a smooth action and power comparable to that of a one-piece rod. Parabolic Tune R is a new version developed to accommodate the slender, thick-walled power rods used in rock fishing.
