Story: 2018. That summer night. In just one night, the world ended. On this planet of drifting ruins—we are still alive. A planet of drifting ruins. Buildings, homes, telephone poles, cars, traffic lights, asphalt—modern civilization has collapsed, becoming floating ruins in the sea. As our protagonists live on one of these ruined islands, new ruins wash ashore one after another. ・Clones: "Clone humans" grow and die in just 13 days. The protagonists of Zanki Zero, the last eight surviving humans, are all clones. Even if their vital functions cease, they can regenerate (Extend) into new bodies by following a specific procedure.

・Extend TV: The only program they can watch on a worn-out TV in the garage on Rubble Island where the eight people live is "Extend TV"! The host is the adorable herbivorous mascot Mirai, and his assistant is Terashima Sho.
