Another Earth Defense Force, born in America, is on the move.
The Japanese "Earth Defense Force" series has spread across the ocean, delighting not only core gamers but also inspiring creators.
Now, thanks to USA staff, another Earth Defense Force has been born.
Feel the despair of facing massive, overwhelmingly numerous enemies, and the exhilaration of firing your weapons.
The American version of "Earth Defense Force," inheriting the series' concept, has finally arrived.
■Earth Defense Force, Strike Force!
Players become part of the three-person Earth Defense Force rapid response unit "Strike Force Lightning."
In this third-person shooting action game, your objective is to eradicate the "Ravagers," who are destroying cities around the world and threatening to wipe out humanity. Survive alongside your allies and save the Earth.
■Countless giant creatures are approaching! An overwhelming sense of despair!
Giant ants, spiders, and unknown robots...
Various types of Ravagers attack the troops in such large numbers that they cover the entire screen.
Experience the most intense and despairing EDF game to date in a world where everything is destructible.
■New game mode! Save the world with online play for up to six players!
The main game mode is "Campaign Mode," which sets itself apart from previous "Earth Defense Force" games.
You receive a series of commands within a single mission and progress through it.
There are 15 missions in total.
In addition, there are three modes designed for repeated play: "Campaign Remix," which is based on the campaign mode and features completely different enemy placements,
and "Survival," where you battle endless enemies.
"Campaign" and "Campaign Remix" support online play for up to three players, while "Survival" supports up to six players.
Split-screen two-player play is also supported.
■Change and strengthen your equipment (armor) before taking on the challenge!
Players can choose from four types of "equipment" before deploying.
There's the initial "Trooper Gear," the upgraded "Tactical Gear," the attack-focused "Battle Gear,"
and the flight-capable "Jet Gear," each with their own unique characteristics, and players can change them based on their strategy.
Each piece of gear also has growth elements that allow it to be upgraded.
