Confused, Kagami entrusts Alma, who has followed him, to search the area. Alma makes her way alone through the darkness of the underground bunker, searching for Ruri. Waiting for her in the darkness, she soon finds Knight Terushima! Meanwhile, a captured Ruri learns a shocking truth about Kenbi from Fay. ■Episode 8 "With Sincerity" Ruri's doubts about Kenbi, who she's been working with until now, stem from the words of Knight and Fay. She orders Kagami to investigate the Kenbi Research Institute and then arrives at Alma's house. She hands Alma the contract with the Aiba Foundation. It was her desire to further solidify their cooperation, but Alma can't hide her irritation at Ruri's actions, feeling that she "doesn't trust her," and the atmosphere becomes tense.
