Product Introduction
This classic frying pan is crafted with exquisite craftsmanship, hammered from a single sheet of iron. Founded in 1857 by skilled blacksmith Albert-Karl Turk, Turk has maintained its reputation for crafting frying pans using the same techniques for over 150 years.
Turk frying pans are forged by heating a block of iron at high temperatures, resulting in a seamless, one-piece construction that ensures the handles will not come off. Known as a "100-year-old frying pan," this frying pan can be used for generations.
While not as lightweight as a Teflon-coated frying pan, allowing you to shake it with one hand, it offers excellent heat conductivity and excellent heat retention, bringing out the full flavor of your ingredients and creating delicious results. Iron also pairs exceptionally well with oil, ensuring that oil is absorbed evenly throughout the pan.
Iron frying pans are strong and durable, and will not deteriorate even when heated empty. The more you use them, the better they will become, cooking better and tastier with them, and their texture will improve. This master craftsman's classic frying pans are experiencing a resurgence in popularity, especially in Germany and across Europe, and production is struggling to keep up.
Seasoning is easy. First, lightly wash the pan with detergent, then spread oil evenly over the pan and fry potatoes, carrots, and other vegetable scraps with a teaspoon of salt. Once the vegetables are cooked through and the bottom of the pan begins to darken, seasoning is complete.

From Amazon
● This seamless, one-piece frying pan is forged from a block of iron (pig iron) through repeated high-temperature heating. Recommended for simple grilled dishes that bring out the natural flavor of the ingredients, such as meat, fish, vegetables, and pancakes.
● Master blacksmith Albert-Karl Turk founded Turk in 1857. Located in the mining district of the Ruhr, Germany's ironworks manufacturing center, Turk continues to craft classic frying pans with craftsmanship passed down through generations. Forged frying pans are made by heating a block of iron (pig iron) to red hot and hammering it repeatedly to form a strong, seamless, one-piece design. With proper care, they can be used for generations. Their excellent heat circulation and heat retention allow for slow, steady cooking while bringing out the full flavor of ingredients. Even thick cuts of meat retain their heat and evaporate moisture quickly, resulting in juicy steaks that are crispy on the outside and retain their juices inside. Vegetables also retain a crisp texture, and omelets, pancakes, and toast are evenly browned. Each frying pan is individually forged by artisans, resulting in a rugged, rough appearance. However, the more you use it, the more it will soften, and the more the iron surface will develop a lustrous sheen, enhancing its rich flavor.
