Seto ware is a collective term for ceramics produced in and around Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. It's a representative form of Japanese pottery with over a thousand years of history and tradition. It's known as one of the Six Ancient Kilns, along with Tokoname, Shigaraki, Echizen, Tamba, and Bizen. Goshun Kiln cherishes the traditional techniques and materials passed down through five generations, while constantly challenging itself to create new pieces. The chrysanthemum-shaped Kikka series is hand-carved one by one using the refreshingly light blue, highly transparent "Ofukai" clay, resulting in vessels with the soft texture of clay. The slender, oval-shaped vessels stylishly present side dishes. Individual product sizes, colors, and patterns may vary.
