[Introduction] Kazuma Satou, a game-loving shut-in whose life was supposed to end abruptly in a traffic accident (?!), is reincarnated into another world, accompanied by the goddess Aqua.

Although Kazuma's heart races with the prospect of a life as an adventurer and his dream of becoming a hero, his reincarnated life soon becomes filled with trouble. He ends up forming a party with three incredibly talented but incredibly unfortunate people: Aqua, the trouble-making, useless goddess; Megumin, a magician with a severe case of chuunibyou; and Darkness, a female knight with nonstop delusions; they defeat the Demon King's army executives, play with the princess, and sometimes die...
