Das Werk "1/72 Scale World War I German U-Boat SM U9" Plastic Model Kit.

The U9 was a German U-boat used in World War I. In July 1914, it became the first ship in history to successfully reload its torpedo tubes while submerged. In September of that year, while on patrol in the southern North Sea, it sank three British armored cruisers: HMS Abukia, Hogue, and HMS Cressy. In October, it sank the British protected cruiser HMS Hawke. In April 1916, it was withdrawn from the front lines and used for training. It was scrapped in 1919.

Can be assembled with the torpedo launchers open or closed, and the engine snorkel and funnel extended or retracted. Decals included. Completed size: Approximately 80cm long.
