Product Introduction
The San'in Line, a 108.1-km line bordering the Sea of Japan, connects Gotsu, where it connects with the San'in Main Line, to Miyoshi, where it connects with the Geibi Line.
The entire line opened in 1975 and primarily served regional transportation. However, due to declining traffic, it is scheduled to close on March 31, 2018.
Utsui Station, located near the line's midpoint, opened in 1975 with the opening of the Hamahara-Kuchiba section. Because the line was laid through mountainous terrain, sandwiched between tunnels on both sides, the platform was located 20 meters above ground.
As a result, 116 steps were installed from ground level to the platform, earning the station the nickname "Station in the Sky."
To ensure you can keep this impressive Utsui Station close to you forever, this first installment in the Station Collection series has been recreated in 1/150 N gauge scale. This replica recreates 110 of the 116 steps, covering four staircases (two on either side of the central staircase tower).
The train is large enough to accommodate two cars.
Trackbed length: Approximately 317mm. Please use Tomix Fine Track Rails (e.g., S280 x 1 + S18.5 x 2).
Toilet and bus stop included.
Please note that some parts may be deformed.
The train, rails, and the power unit and feeder that illuminate the trains are sold separately.
This set recreates the illuminations that were held on specific days.
