Angerme Sasaki Rikako Photobook "Rikako - Girl, Chapter 2

From girl to adult, 2017-2020. Rikako's memories of three years.

Angerme member and model Rikako Sasaki has released her second photobook. This marks her first solo photobook in five years, released on her 19th birthday. Having graduated from high school this spring, photographer Sawatari Hajime has captured the last three years of her life as a culmination of her final teen years. The series begins in the winter of 2017. Just before graduating from junior high school, she was photographed in snowy Gunma Prefecture, still sporting a youthful smile and serious expression. The second time, during her second year of high school, was during the chilly spring in Tokyo. Her expressions, oscillating between girlhood and adulthood, are a highlight. Then, during her third year of high school, we followed her in Tokyo and Okinawa as she matured into a mature woman. Sasaki Rikako's "Girl, Chapter 1" begins before she became an idol, while "Chapter 2" spans the three years since she joined Angerme and made her breakthrough as an idol. It captures her unpretentious, honest demeanor in a straightforward way. Each photograph is striking and will stay in your heart and memory...that's the kind of book it is. (Includes a making-of DVD)
