2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Product introduction [About the actual vehicle] The Japanese Navy developed and equipped the amphibious tank Special Type 2 internal fire boat (Kami) with the cooperation of the Army as one of the equipment for the ground forces during World War II. The base was the Army's Type 95 light tank, which had a fully welded structure and the hatch was equipped with rubber seals. The turret uses the turret of a Type 2 tank. The main gun is equipped with a set of 37mm tank guns. It was equipped with removable floats at the front and rear of the vehicle to provide buoyancy, allowing for amphibious operation. The float was removed after landing and the tank continued its advance as a normal tank. There were two types of front floats: an early type with an integrated type and a later type with a left and right split type. After being formalized in 1942, approximately 180 vehicles were produced by the end of the war. It was first used in actual combat on Saipan, and was active in various battlefields on southern islands such as New Guinea. The lower parts of the car body are also integrally molded using a slide mold. The details on the sides and bottom are also reproduced in detail. Realistic sprocket wheels and suspension arms tighten the suspension. The track uses a DS track that is easy to assemble. Also, it is unique to Kami that the screw installed at the rear of the underside of the car body is reproduced. In addition, the turret is realistically reproduced from its shape to the smallest details.
