Features - Perfect for everyone, from trail cruisers seeking comfort to big hitters looking to cushion hard rock gardens and flat landings. Monarch Grips are available in two textures: Mushroom and Knurl. The Mushroom texture is named after the ridges on the underside of a mushroom. Featured in BMX grips for decades for its excellent shock absorption, the mushroom texture ribs are evenly spaced with equal gaps. This allows the ribs to flex into adjacent spaces when compressed by the hand. Compared to the knurled texture, it offers a softer, more flexible feel and better shock absorption.

Two thickness options: Thin / Thick. Offering one size grip diameter is as crazy as offering one size glove! The Thin grip has an inner diameter of 30mm and an outer diameter of 32mm, while the Thick grip has an inner diameter of 32mm and an outer diameter of 34mm. This makes the Thick grip ideal for riders with larger hands, while also providing 2mm more shock-absorbing rubber than the Thin grip. The ideal grip size depends on your riding style and trail conditions. It also depends on the size of your hands and whether you wear gloves or not. As a general rule, riders with larger hands (glove size XL and above) should choose thicker grips, but some aggressive riders (even those with larger hands) may choose thinner grips for better bar feel and precise control.

Conversely, riders with smaller hands may find thinner grips to be the best fit, but may prefer the comfort and reduced fatigue of thicker grips over ultimate control.

Monarch grips use the standard 20A compound.

-Peaty's is a sustainable brand! The grip core is made from 80% recycled ocean plastic. Eco-friendly packaging made from cardboard instead of plastic.

- Tapered grip diameter increases from the inside to the outside. The taper helps create a more natural grip angle by supporting your palm and reducing pressure on long rides. The tapered rubber makes the rubber thinner on the inside of the grip (for increased bar feel) and thicker on the outside of the grip (for increased impact cushioning). This taper works in conjunction with the offset core to further increase the thickness of the rubber on the top surface, further enhancing impact cushioning!

- The grip core is custom-made to use thinner 8mm clamps instead of the standard 11mm clamps. Although it's only a 3mm difference, it maximizes the grippable area and minimizes the overall width of the grip body on the bar.

- Optimally sized lugs have been added on the thumb and pinky sides. The thumb lug and half flange provide an internal bump stop for your hand and are perfectly sized to cover hard-edged clamp bolts when shifting your thumb. The pinky-finger lug on the end of the grip provides subtle feedback that your hand is on the end of the bar, providing a sense of security when riding over rough terrain.

Installation Instructions 1. Remove the grip from the bar and thoroughly clean and degrease it. 2. Slide the grip onto the bar, ensuring that it is installed on the correct side. The L (Left) and R (Right) markings on the lock ring indicate the orientation of the grip, and should be installed on the left and right from the rider's perspective. 3. Install the grip in the correct orientation, with the crown logo on the end facing up. This determines the default position of the finger bar and thumb pad. Tilt it slightly forward or backward depending on your riding position and preference. 4. Firmly slam the grip onto the bar, ensuring that the bar is fully engaged with the tapered core. No hammer required! A light tap with the palm of your hand is sufficient! 5.
