These salted jellyfish have a crunchy texture. Made with Ako salt from Banshu Ako, a renowned salt-producing region. To ensure the authentic texture and quality of jellyfish, we use carefully selected jellyfish from Southeast Asia (primarily Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia) and process them domestically (Tatsuno, Hyogo Prefecture). The fish are visually selected by hand, carefully removed of foreign matter, and are carefully handcrafted one by one by female workers, from salting to packaging. Once desalted, they can be used in a variety of dishes, including salads, vinegared dishes, and Chinese cuisine. This is a long-selling product with a proven track record of sales overseas.
