This HDMI peripheral device has HDMI 4 input and 2 output switching, distribution, and scaling functions, as well as HDMI signal upscaling and downscaling, chroma subsampling, color space, color depth, and HDCP conversion.
VERTEX2 is a 4x2 matrix/splitter/scaler with enhanced inputs and outputs, adding the HDMI/HDCP conversion/editing, matrix switching and distribution functions of the previous VERTEX product, increasing the input from 2 HDMI inputs to 4 HDMI inputs, and outputting 2 HDMI outputs + 1 audio HDMI output.
It also supports eARC, which was not supported by the previous VERTEX.
In terms of operation, the VERTEX2 has a LAN port, so in addition to the conventional control methods of OSD, OLED, and PC software, it can also be controlled via a web browser.

Various inputs and outputs
The VERTEX2 features four HDMI inputs and two video outputs supporting 4K HDR10+/HLG/DV/LLDV, as well as LAN control, an RS232 port, and L/R stereo or optical audio outputs.
It also features 5.1ch output, LED control, IR RX, IR/light sensor, IR window, OLED display, and four buttons on the side for input/end and port changing.
All video inputs support 4K HDR/HLG/DV/LLDV/HDR10+ at up to 18Gbps and all existing sound formats including DTS:X, ATMOS, and more.
The HDMITX0 port supports video output at 18Gbps and all sound formats.
VERTEX2 operates in Matrix/Scaler mode, allowing you to optimize your settings.
Play any HDMI source (Blu-ray, UHD Blu-ray, media player, satellite receiver, games, console, PC, etc.) to the connected display.
Unique HDCP Doctor feature
Offering a total of 15 HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 engines, VERTEX2 provides a bidirectional HDCP solution, converting HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 to HDCP 2.2.
VERTEX2 allows you to connect an HDCP1.x or HDCP2.x source device to an HDCP1.x or HDCP 2.x sink device.
Each RX port first decrypts its input, whether it is 1.x or 2.x, and then each output port individually encrypts it to 1.4 or 2.2, or does nothing if it is not encrypted.
