The Wireless Go (3rd Gen) is the third-generation wireless microphone system in the RØDE Wireless series.
Comprising two transmitters with built-in high-quality microphones and one receiver that connects to your filming equipment, it supports dual-channel recording. Its simple design features a clip on the back of the unit, allowing it to be easily attached to clothing or a camera.
It offers significant improvements over its predecessor, the Wireless Go II, with a transmission distance of up to 260m (line of sight), over 40 hours of onboard recording in 32-bit float format, and a locking connector for the lavalier microphone.
It also features a gain assist function that automatically adjusts the input audio to the optimum volume, eliminating the need for detailed settings, making it easy for anyone to record clear audio and broadcast in real time.
The Wireless Go (3rd Gen) makes it easy to record professional-quality, high-quality audio in a variety of situations, allowing you to focus more on your creative work.
This next-generation, highly flexible wireless microphone system
With wireless audio transmission and an easy-to-handle, compact body, you're freed from the hassle of cluttered audio cables, capturing the speaker's voice clearly. High-quality audio recordings are a breeze.
Both the transmitter and receiver have a battery life of up to 7 hours, and the transmitter's remaining battery life and transmission status can be checked on the receiver's LCD monitor.
Transmission between the transmitter and receiver uses RØDE's cutting-edge Series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission and a near-zero latency codec with 128-bit encryption, providing clear, stable audio transmission up to 260m (line of sight).
It is also compatible with RØDE's Wireless Pro, Interview Pro, and Wireless Me digital transmission systems, allowing you to freely pair the transmitter and receiver of each product.
The transmitter can also be directly connected to RØDE audio interfaces, including Roadcaster Video, Roadcaster Pro II, Roadcaster Duo, and Streamer X, enabling flexible setup options to suit your recording and streaming environment.
Depending on whether or not post-recording editing is required, you can select from two recording modes: Merge mode, which combines the output from two transmitters into a single recording, or Split mode, which records each transmitter's output on separate left and right channels.
Distortion-free 32-bit float onboard recording: Each transmitter is equipped with 32GB of internal memory, allowing for onboard recording, which simultaneously records audio on the transmitter and transmits it to the receiver.
Onboard recording also supports recording at a bit depth of 32-bit float*. This eliminates the need for gain adjustment during recording, and distortion can be easily avoided by adjusting the gain after recording.
Onboard recording can be switched between Always mode, which records continuously while the transmitter is running, and Manual mode, which allows recording to be started by pressing the transmitter's REC button.
Even when not connected to a receiver, the internal memory can store over 40 hours of 32-bit float recording data, providing a useful backup in case of audio transmission problems.
Onboard recording data output, transmitter and receiver setting changes, charging, and firmware updates can be intuitively controlled using the RØDE Central app by connecting to a PC or smartphone via the included SC33 (charging hub).
*Audio transmission to the receiver does not support 32-bit float.
Easy clear recording in any situation.
To ensure clear recordings in a variety of situations, the RØDE is equipped with a "Gain Assist" function for ease of use and a "Safety Channel" function for greater recording reliability.
The Gain Assist function*1 automatically adjusts the input gain to the transmitter, lowering loud sounds and increasing quiet sounds, making it easy to always record audio that is easy to hear.
Choose from two modes: "Auto" mode, which always provides stable sound, or "Dynamic" mode, which captures the natural sound inflections of the sound.
This function reduces the hassle of audio editing and helps ensure stable audio recording during live streaming.
The Safety Channel function*² outputs a backup audio source, attenuating all input audio by -10dB, from the receiver's right channel. This backup audio can be used during editing to prevent distortion even in the event of a sudden loud sound or unexpected noise.
In addition, the output gain from the receiver's 3.5mm TRS connector can be manually adjusted in 3dB increments. Presets are also available for connected devices such as cameras and headphones, allowing for quick and easy gain management.
*¹ Does not apply to onboard recording in the transmitter.
*² Compatible with merge mode only.
Connects to a variety of devices
The receiver comes with a 3.5mm TRS cable for analog connection to a camera, as well as a USB-C cable or Lightning cable for digital connection to a PC or smartphone, allowing for compatibility with a wide range of devices.
When connected to a PC, the Gain Assist function automatically adjusts the volume, making it easy to deliver clear audio during webinars and online meetings, regardless of the speaker's distance from the PC or cable management.
Only compatible with smartphone camera apps* that support external audio input. If you're using an iOS device, you can make use of RØDE's dedicated camera app, RØDE Capture, for even more convenience. RØDE Capture allows simultaneous recording from the main and front cameras, and you can also change microphone settings within the app.
The receiver's 3.5mm TRRS connector also allows you to connect a headset, which not only allows you to monitor the audio transmitted from the transmitter, but also supports audio input from the headset.
*On some Android devices, the standard camera app may not support external audio input.
Support varies by model, so please check with the manufacturer.
