The prototype is the 15th series, which was deployed west of Hamamatsu and was used before the ATS was installed.
It is not equipped with signal pipes, but rather a PS15 pantograph and an LA13 lightning arrester.
The final model has H-rubber support windows on the three central windows on the front and sides, as well as the central monitor, which were used when manufactured new.

Power packs with constant lighting functions and thyristor (pulse-controlled) power packs are not compatible with this product. Also, sound control using the SL-1's sound control function is not possible.
Since this system is controlled by a completely different mechanism from vehicles controlled by normal voltage alone, it cannot be coordinated with powered vehicles not equipped with the Quantum System.
